Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
Darkseid, also known as Uxas, is a supporting antagonist in the Injustice franchise. He is a New God, the tyrannical and power-hungry ruler of the dystopian planet of Apokolips and the father of the late Kalibak.
He was voiced by Michael-Leon Wooley, who voiced the same character in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Young Justice and Audrey II of the 2003 Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors.
As part of his and Hera's scheme to escalate conflict between both the Greek Gods and New Gods so as to empower himself, Ares, the Olympian God of War enlists the aid of Darkseid, who accepts, as he would have the chance of seeking to avenge his son Kalibak, who was killed by Superman during the events of Year One. This consequently, resulted in the Gods of Olympus getting into conflict with Superman, his allies, the One Earth Regime and later Batman and the Insurgents. After Harley Quinn, Amazon Queen Hippolyta and Billy Batson/Shazam were accidentally teleported to Apokolips via a mother box they were encountered by Darkseid, who takes them prisoner, as he seeks to torture them just for his own amusement, but before he could even begin the process, he was ambushed by Superman, who was alerted by Batman that Harley has a mother box. As they engage each other in a destructive battle, Harley, Hippolyta, and Billy Batson escapes with the mother box, teleporting themselves back to Earth, but in the Himalayas.
When the trio were found by Wonder Woman and Batman, Hippolyta reveals to her daughter that Superman is on Apokolips, causing Wonder Woman to accuse Batman of sending Superman on a suicidal mission only for Batman to coldly warn her that she is underestimating Superman's viciousness. As the latter and Darkseid continued battling, this caused all of Apokolips to discharge risky levels of geothermal energy, which threatened to destroy the planet's core. The battle ultimately ended in a stalemate, as they were convinced to stop fighting by Darkseid's own son Orion, who warns that if the two continued to fight then Darkseid and millions will die if Apokolips' core is destroyed. When Darkseid asks Orion of what will happened to Superman but Orion isn't sure. Superman then warns the former to stay away from Earth before leaving.
Later, after the Gods of Olympus permanently left Earth, Superman takes Ares to Darkseid to let him take custody of him but only on the condition that he and his people will never set foot on Earth. As a departing Superman warns him that Ares can't be killed, due to his status as a God, this pleases Darkseid, who notes that his suffering will be "sweeter."
Injustice: Gods Among Us[]
Darkseid makes a cameo in his throne room as part of the stage transition in the Hall of Justice. Whoever gets punched into the portal to Apokolips, Darkseid will get up from his throne and proceed to beat them before throwing them back into the portal to Earth. He will also perform one last attack where he will fire his Omega Beams at the person, dealing extra damage.
In the iOS and Android version of the game, Darkseid is a playable character and has his own super move: he will grab his opponent and teleports them to Apokolips where they are suddenly attacked by two of the Furies as Darkseid watches on his throne. After the opponent is sent hurtling into space, he will grow into a gigantic size and fires his Omega Beams, sending crashing back to Earth.
Injustice 2[]
Darkseid is a DLC character that can be downloaded in the game. He arrived on Earth to exact vengeance on Superman, because the Krptonian had killed his son, Kalibak. Darkseid is also after the Anti-Life Equation held by Wonder Woman.
Arcade Ending[]
“
The Coluan, Brainiac, was a genius without peer. But. I. Am. A God. I could not allow an errant intellect to steal the object of my vengeance. Superman refused to submit to my will, denied my conquest of Earth, and killed my son, Kalibak. He suffered and perished. But not until I told him exactly what would happen after he died. Kara Zor-El proved quite resilient, but eventually, DeSaad broke her. She is a powerful weapon--a natural leader for my new, invincible breed of parademons, cloned from the DNA of Superman himself. Superman robbed me of my blood. Now, our score is settled. That is the will of Darkseid!
„
~ Darkseid in his non-canon Ending.
In a possible ending, Darkseid defeated Brainiac before killing him with his Omega Beams, apparently disabling the latter's skull ship and destroying the many planets and billions of souls that were captured and collected. Because Superman had refused to submit to his will and had killed Kalibak, Darkseid kills the Kryptonian in act of vengeance but not before telling him of what would really happened to him after he dies. Supergirl was then captured and though she proved to be resilient, she was psychologically broken by DeSaad, allowing Darkseid to subjugate her to his will. Darkseid uses Superman's DNA to create and clone a new breed of invincible Parademons based on Kryptonians, with the now-brainwashed Supergirl as their appointed leader.
Injustice vs. Masters of the Universe[]
After the events of the Absolute Power ending, Darkseid and his followers orchestrated the invasion on Eternia as well as forming an alliance with Skeletor. Darkseid eventually found the Anti-Life equation, seeking the conquer the multiverse, this causes both Superman, Batman, He-Man and the others to make a temporary truce to stop Darkseid.
Skeletor eventually betrays Darkseid, wanting to rule Eternia for himself. Now gaining the powers of SHAZAM, the two fought but Darkseid emerged victorious, defeating Skeletor. Superman and He-Man then intervenes, killing Darkseid for good.
Personality[]
Darkseid is a very ruthless and authoritative individual, considered to be very superior above others, more so than both Brainiac and Superman. However, he does seem to care about his son, Kalibak although he had high hopes for him and when he discovered Superman killed his son, he traveled to Earth to avenge Kalibak's death while conquering the planet. Like his original counterpart, Darkseid is very power-hungry as he seeks to conquer the entire universe, by finding the Anti-Life equation.

Darkseid has many abilities like his comic book version.

Master Combatant: Darkseid is a highly-trained Apokoliptian warrior. He has held his own against powerful opponents, such as Superman. Furthermore, he can best even those who are more skilled than him because of his 200,000 plus years of combat experience.
High Intellect: Darkseid being a god, is smarter than most beings in the universe. While not displayed as much as in the comics, several of his intros have him outright rebuke Brainiac for saying that he could best him mentally. This implies that he is as if not even smarter.
