Darkth Chao is the main antagonist of the Chao In Space web animation. They are a villainous Dark Chao seen in a Neutral Chao's dream, battling the heroic Chaobi in outer space.
Biography[]
It implied that Darkth Chao works for the Eggman Empire and has battled Chaobi in the past. They are first seen escaping into space from Chaobi in their starfighter. Eventually, the two Chao engage in a fight. Darkth damages Chaobi's starfighter, but they keep on fighting. Eventually, Darkth completely destroys their opponents vessel, but is shocked to see them assume a Super form, thanks to support from Biggschao and Chaowedge, and blast through Darkth's starfighter. Darkth Chao isn't seen afterwards, leaving their fate unknown.
Personality[]
Little is known about Darkth's personality, but they appear to hold a grudge against Chaobi, and don't regret apparently killing them.

- Darkth Chao is currently the only example of a truly villainous Dark Chao, as most of them, despite their name, are petty bullies at worst and usually side with the heroes.
- Darkth Chao is the character's internal name, as revealed by Tyson Hesse, with their actual name remaining unknown.
- Darkth Chao's internal name is a reference to Darth Vader, a major character from the Star Wars franchise.
- Darkth Chao is inspired by the Dark Chao seen on the poster for Chao in Space II, and is implied to be the same character.
