Darren is a major antagonist in the HBO Max animated series Velma.
He is the biological father of Daphne Blake, as well as a member of the Crystal Cove Gang, a group of thieves residing in Crystal Cove who intends on exploiting Daphne to escape the police.
He was voiced by Ken Leung, who also played Sang in Rush Hour, Quill in X-Men: The Last Stand and Zhao in the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender television adaptation.
Personality[]
Darren is a true career criminal. Even before becoming a thief, he desired to commit crimes and only became a mascot with his wife because he got the chance to scam others. He is also homicidal and willing killed a group of organ-dealers before attempting to kill Norville.
Appearance[]
Darren has the appearance of a tall, stocky, middle-aged Asian American man. He has dark black hair and he has always had facial hair on his cheeks and chin. He dons a white shirt, dark blue pants with red suspenders attached to them, dark purple gloves, and black sneakers.
In his prisoner uniform, he wears an orange jumpsuit along with a white shirt underneath and white shoes.
