Darth Maul, also known as Darth Moar, is a major antagonist in Angry Birds Star Wars II, within the Angry Birds franchise.
He is based off the actual Darth Maul from the Star Wars series, being the first apprentice to Darth Sidious.
Biography[]
Angry Birds Star Wars II[]
Darth Maul appeared as a playable character on the Pork Side Escape to Tatooine. His ability is to use his double bladed lightsaber to cut things around him. In the cutscene of the final level of Battle of Naboo, he killed Qui-Gon Jinn.
In the beginning cutscene of Escape to Tatooine on the Pork Side, he is hired by Darth Sidious to go to Tatooine. At the end of Escape to Tatooine's bird side, he locates Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan successfully and fights them, but after the Pork Side boss fight, the two Jedi birds escape from him.
In Battle of Naboo's Pork Side, he is seen at the beginning sneaking through the streets on his way to the power generator. In the boss fight of Battle of Naboo's Pork Side, he kills Qui-Gon Jinn in said power generator.
He doesn't appear for the rest of the game, so it can be presumed that he was killed off-screen by Obi-Wan Kaboomi, just like his canon self, though given how he survived it's possible, Darth Moar survived too.
Appearance[]
Darth Moar appears as a red pig with black tattoos. He also has horns around his head, just like his main counterpart. He also wears a black suit. Humorously, one of the tattoos is an arrow on his cheek and two small flippers are seen on the bottom of his suit, likely to help him swim in the water-based Battle of Naboo levels.
Personality[]
Maul attempting to jump at the Star Skiff as it flies off with Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan escaping frantically.
Darth Maul is highly sneaky and cunning, like his original counterpart, although exaggeratedly smug. He is also openly sadistic, since he cackled after mercilessly killing Qui-Gon Jinn.
