History[]
Blockade of Naboo[]
Dofine was a Nemoidian from a wealthy family known to be extremely treacherous. He was recruited into the Federation by Viceroy Nute Gunray. He then became a part of Gunray's inner circle.
Sometime later, he was promoted to become captain of the Trade Federation. He had negotiations with two Jedi, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, the negotiations are a trap. The Jedi managed to escape, and Dofine prepared to invade Naboo with his battle-droid army to disable the communications and prevent the Jedi from warning Naboo.
During the battle over Naboo, Dofine oversees the Federation forces. Eventually, Anakin Skywalker destroys the reactor of the Droid Control Ship, causing it to explode, deactivating the battle droids on Naboo and killing Daultay Dofine.
