David is a minor anime-exclusive antagonist in Fist of the North Star.
He was voiced by Hōchū Ōtsuka.
Biography[]
As the Ken-Oh Recruitment Body leader, he raised Glen like a son, teaching him to become a machine to kill innocent people without a brain. David recruited the youth through propaganda by corrupting many local village recruits and ordered them to kill each other until the last one was standing. Among those who were conscripted were an old man's two sons who were mistreated within Ken-Oh's ranks and eventually killed.
David ordered Glen to kill the recruiters who were escaping from the fight and Glen crushed some of them to death to set a reminder that the recruits must fight to the death.
Glen was about to kill another innocent man commissioned by David to kill him but Kenshiro infiltrated the recruitment camp and saved an innocent man and stopped David's plans by killing one of his instructors. David senses an opportunity hoping that by killing Kenshiro, he can attain command of an army of his own.
Glen fights with all his might, but his strength is crippled by Kenshiro. After killing Glen for his failure, the horrendous David incurs Kenshiro's wrath on him. With David's henchmen unable to attack, Kenshiro tells them that Ken-Oh only chains people through empty threats, so David begins to flee with his men but his escape was interrupted by Huey with his army trapping him with no way out. Although David tries to explain that he is a simple soldier in Ken-Oh's army, Huey cuts him into a thousand pieces telling him that he is horrible and cowardly man.

David is cunning, intelligent, arrogant, selfish, and never shows remorse for killing innocent people.
