David A. Dimaguiba is a major antagonist from FPJ's Batang Quiapo.
He is the son of Rigor Dimaguiba who’s the favorite son and always compared him with Tanggol who is his archnemesis and Santino. As being the favored son, this caused him to antagonize Tanggol as he always sees the wrong side of Tanggol. In the later episodes, he works as Olga Montenegro’s pawn and an accomplice pretending to be Hesus Montenegro.
He was portrayed by McCoy de Leon.
Biography[]
He is the eldest son of Rigor Dimaguiba and yet the middle son of Marites Dimaguiba (because she had the eldest illegitimate son with Ramon, who impregnated and raped her ever since), who sides with Rigor against Tanggol and Santino. Throughout the years he was the favorite son of Rigor and favored him than Tanggol and Santino.
Rigor has supported him throughout the years and had high expectations on him to be a policeman. Unknown to Rigor that he behaves mischievously secretly such as stealing Tanggol’s money for his own privileges. This caused Tanggol beat him up seriously as he catches him stealing Tanggol’s money, which resulted Tanggol being kicked out on their home after Rigor attempted to shoot him for his biological father, Ramon Montenegro, who was the actual father of Tanggol Montenegro, terrorizing all over the neighborhood.
At some point, studying college he met Camille pretended to be a gentleman, only to get her privilege as she belongs to a wealthy family by taking advantage of her drunk, which resulted her being pregnant. With his problem, he stopped his studies and Olga used him as her pawn for extracting her vengeance against the Montenegros and Tanggol.
With his new life entering to luxury by pretending as Hesus Montenegro, the lost son of Ramon Montenegro, he takes advantage of the opportunity to steal all of the Montenegro’s wealth. During a raid in their transaction, he got shot by the police while trying to save Ramon from getting shot by them and witnessed his father one of the policemen raiding the Montenegro’s warehouse. As Ramon Montenegro managed to shoot Rigor and about to kill Rigor, he pleads him to spare him instead. Despite of his gunshot wound, he survived by Ramon treating his wounds and continued working as a pawn and an accomplice of Olga by stealing Tanggol’s identity.
Personality[]
David is the very snitch brother of Tanggol and the biological eldest son of Rigor and Marites, who is following in his father's footsteps to become a police officer. He is also very rude to Tanggol and his younger brother Santino because he believes that they are the root of all of the family's problems that caused Rigor's reputation to be badly damaged as a result. After he falls in love with Camille, he talks to Camille in a disrespectful way.
