Dax is a minor antagonist in the first season of the CW show The 100.
He was portrayed by Victor Zink Jr.
Description[]
Dax was a delinquent sent to Earth along with 99 other teenagers by the Ark. In the past, he has allegedly committed serious murder, which makes him different from other teenagers who have committed petty crimes. Although he cares about beings close to him like his mother, he does not hesitate to kill to achieve his ends and even his allies like Clarke or Bellamy.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Dax appears when Raven Reyes is building a device to communicate with the Ark. He is called by Clarke to speak to his mother while he was working on the curing of the meat. In the tent, however, it is not his mother that he sees on the computer but Commander Shumway. The latter already knew him for the murder he committed and Dax defends himself by saying that his victim had robbed him. Asking him if he's alone, Shumway makes a deal with Dax; kill Bellamy Blake so his mother can have a place in the Exodus shuttle that will later land on Earth.
The teenager waits and stalks Bellamy with Clarke in the woods while carrying a knife. He watches them enter a supply depot and waits for Bellamy to come out. Later, Dax traps Clarke who was hallucinating her father and knocks her out in the bunker.
He then does the same with Bellamy who, him, hallucinated Jaha and the deceased of the Culling on the Ark. The two begin to fight and Bellamy realizes that he actually has no weapons, leaving Dax perplexed. That's when Clarke steps in but Dax dominates and says Shumway didn't want any witnesses. Bellamy explains the commander's plot to Clarke while Dax gives Clarke a chance to leave even though she doesn't want to. She then hides behind a tree and Dax shoots her before Bellamy pounces on him and starts fighting him. But Dax quickly gains the upper hand by strangling Bellamy with his gun. He counteracts Clarke's blow by hitting her but is ultimately killed when Bellamy uses the bullet to stick it in Dax's neck.
Season 3[]
In a flashback, Dax is present at Charles Pike's "Earth Skills" class. While the latter hits John Murphy several times, Dax tries to stop him along with Mbege and other teenagers.
Dax is later mentioned by Jasper among the victims killed after returning to the ground.
