The Deadpool Corps are minor antagonists in the 2024 Marvel Cinematic Universe film Deadpool & Wolverine. They are a collective of variants of Deadpool from across the multiverse that work for Cassandra Nova in the Void.

History[]

Very little about the Deadpool Corps' past is unknown other than the fact that they were a mercenary crew that work for the highest bidder, who in the Void happened to be Cassandra Nova, which would imply that they were banished to the Void by the Time Variance Authority in the past. Sometime prior to the events of the film, Ladypool gave birth to Babypool.

In the film itself, the main Deadpool and Wolverine learn about the Corps from Nicepool after running into him and Dogpool in the Void, with the former warning the duo about them. Later on in the film's climax, as Cassandra enters Earth-10005 to use Paradox's Time Ripper to destroy the multiverse, she brings along the entire Deadpool Corps to stall Deadpool and Wolverine. Deadpool initially tries to talk the Corps out of fighting, citing how the multiverse concept has gone stale at this point.

It fails however as the Corps instead fires on him, with Deadpool using Nicepool as a meat shield until he is killed in the crossfire.

Wolverine regrouped with Deadpool by using Dogpool as a shield that the Corps refused to fire upon. Upon stealing Nicepool's gold-plated Desert Eagles, Deadpool, alongside Wolverine, proceeds to fight and massacre the hordes of variants in the Corps with the exception of Dogpool and Babypool, only for them all to regenerate. Before they can continue fighting, however, Deadpool's friend Peter arrives in his old suit, distracting the Corps (who all love the Peters in their respective universes) and allowing Deadpool and Wolverine to stop Cassandra. It is unknown what happened to the Corps after Cassandra's death.

Ladypool, Kidpool and Babypool are portrayed by Blake Lively, Inez Reynolds and Olin Reynolds, respectively, referencing the fact that all three are the respective wife, daughter and son of Ryan Reynolds, who portrays the main Deadpool.
Haroldpool's actor, Harry Holland, is the brother of actor Tom Holland who portrays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds was apparently unaware of his role in the film until Harry confirmed it on a social media post.
