Dean Corll is the titular main antagonist of In a Madman’s World. He is based on the real-life serial killer of the same name. He was played by Joe Grisaffi.
Biography[]
Dean Arnold Corll was born on Christmas Eve of 1939 to Arnold Corll and Mary Robinson. He used to serve in the Unites States Army and after leaving he worked at his family’s candy company and later became an electrician. In 1967 he groomed David Brooks aged 12. By 1970 David had witnessed Dean’s first known murders when he saw Dean torturing and killing boys with a baseball bat. Dean bribed David into silence by buying him a car. David then became’s accomplice and lured many boys to be tortured and killed by Dean.
David later introduced Elmer Wayne Henley Jr. to Dean, likely as a victim, but rather than kill Wayne, Dean offered him money as another accomplice and within 3 years the trio had amassed a total of at least 28 boys and young men until Wayne, aged 17, killed Dean in August of 1973 and confessed the killings they did and led the police to several bodies.
