Deathblow Shogun Daigorg was the major antagonist of the first half of the 2023 Super Sentai series called Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. He was the horned dung beetle-themed general and former champion of the Earth Empire Bugnarak.
He was voiced by Kosuke Takaguchi.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Little is known about Daigorg's prehistory before the events of the series. Jeramie Brasiery mentioned to the King-Ohgers that during Bagnarak's civil war many centuries ago, Daigorg was Desnarak's most powerful warrior and champion of the evil invaders's empire. Daigorg used his formidable power and helped his master unite the kingdoms under Desnarak's tyrannical iron fist and under his rule. However in reality, the unification of the kingdoms of Terra happened because Daigorg was bested by Jeramie's mother Nephila in the duel and Sanagims murdered her as revenge, while considering Nephila as their archenemy. Daigorg died of his old age some time after his defeat.

First battles with King-Ohgers[]
In the modern times of Terra, Rcules Husty used his technologies, and Desnarak was able to place his energy into Daigorg's body and ressurect him. Daigorg then led the armies of Bagnarak into invasion of N'Kosopa. When Tombo Ohger and Spider Kumonos tried to stop the evil general, the villain easily blew the two kings away with one arm swing and was powerful enough to knock the both of them out of transformation. Rcules then ordered him to execute Yanma, but Rcules's benevolent younger half-brother Gira Husty managed to save the Blue Ranger just in time and bring him to Ishabana, where Gast was saved and healed.
Final battle with King-Ohgers and demise[]
After Desnarak proceeded to the next stages of Bagnarak's plans, Kamejim ordered the evil general to destroy Shugoddam. Daigorg invaded the country with his legions of Sanagim and recreated his Daicocrusher to destroy the kingdom. Gira and other King-Ohgers arrived and tried to defeat Daigorg, but the Bagnarak warlord proved to be far too formidable fighter even for the full team of the Rangers. However, Gira managed to activate King Caucasuskabuto Castle in time. The general engaged with the giant robot in the fierce combat, but due to the immense power of the King-Ohgers's new Robo, the villain was eventually overpowered and bested by the heroes. After ensnaring the warlord in his vines, King Caucasuskabuto Castle used Hercules Axe to slice Daigorg in half, killing the evil warlord for good and saving Shuggodom.
