Deathdark-V is a team of evil doppelgangers assembled by the Dark Science Empire Deathdark and antagonists in episode 45 of Dai Sentai Goggle V.

They are all Spotmen who've been turned into evil counterparts of the Goggle V by the power of Tanuki Mozoo. They wield black versions of the Goggle V's weapons.

Biography

The Deathdark-V began as a group of five Spotmen Ninjas assembled by Tanuki Mozoo to fight against Goggle V. During their face off, Tanuki Mozoo bestowed the powers of the Goggle V members he had copied onto them, transforming them into a dark inverse of the Goggle V - Deathdark-V. Deathdark V promptly clashed with Goggle V, with each Deathdark-V member facing their counterpart on the other team. However, while the Deathdark-V possessed versions of the weapons of the Goggle V, they had no equivalent to the gemstones that gave each Goggle V member his or her powers, and thus each Deathdark-V was defeated individually by their counterpart on Goggle-V.

Trivia

• The Deathdark-V's roll call sees them pointing their arms downward in an upside-down V, contrasting the upward V Goggle V makes as part of their roll call.
• While they are not the first "Evil Sentai" team to appear in Super Sentai, the Deathdark-V are the first "Evil Sentai" to fight their counterpart team, as the "Dummy JAKQ" in JAKQ Dengekitai were just Crimers who dressed up as JAKQ to train Devil Scrap's "Scrap Gundan".
