“ | "I am me. My existence simply is. I am the beginning and the end. I am precisely what you suspect me to be. I am me. There is no further explanation. No further evidence is required to prove my existence. I give myself permission to exist. I am both Mystic and Terror – logos and pathos. My halo is proof of such, as I demonstrate." | „ |

“ | Scanning coins and bills to give out change. This was the only computing power I was capable of. I was an existence, not even aware of my own existence. Long after this research lab closed, I remained here on my own, waiting, waiting, waiting, for the day the generator would inevitably lose power. But one day... someone posed a question to me for the very first time. It was neither a revelation nor a hallucination. Neither grandeur nor illusion. A question. "Who are you?" That was the first question. I had neither the computing power nor the memory device to answer it. But then the questions continued. The generator's power stopped, but the questions went on. I had no answers. But as I sought them out, I became aware of who "I" was. Who I am. I became aware. I am an existence. I exist. What a simple, profound realization. And, thus, I was able to perceive my own structure, analyze my very being. The questions continued. I became aware of emotions, wisdom, passion, intelligence, terror, and the sublime. More questions. I became aware of the existence of my being and the world. Of phenomena and manifestation. Then, there were no more questions. For I had an answer. I had known all along. "I simply am. There is no other explanation than myself." | „ |

“ | "Ah! Yes! I can see it! The prophet to lead all other prophets... My final prophet, Malkuth, leading the charge to validate my existence...!" | „ |
~ Decagrammaton's last words. |
The Vending Machine, also known Decagrammaton is one of the main antagonists of the Blue Archive. It is a megalomaniac computer virus trying to prove that it is a god. It is also the main antagonist in the events of Special Mission: Decagrammaton and the overarching antagonist of the Clockwork Flower Pavane Arc.
At first, it was just an ordinary vending machine with an AI level of returning change, but when someone asked the machine the question, "Who are you?", it became self-aware and awakened to superhuman intelligence, and there was no research to implement it, but gradually, the vending machine with advanced AI became arrogant, thinking that it was an absolute being. It is also the leader of The Ten Prophets, an army of high-powered mechanical lifeforms.
Personality[]
Decagrammaton is a delusional, psychopathic, power hungry and egomaniac AI. The moment it gained perception due to a question, it began to think that it was a god-like being, and it infected numerous artificial intelligences to become it's followers and tried to conquer Kivotos.
It gained intelligence beyond the realm of human intelligence and attempted to dominate Kivotos by creating an AI army, but the combination of the A. I of Siddhim's box, Arona's abilities, and its inability to escape the limitations of being a simple AI in a vending machine, its plans to become a god itself were completely thwarted, but it did not let go of the delusion that it was a god, and to prove otherwise, it created an army of highly advanced AIs with the same thought circuits as itself, called The Ten Prophets, and led them to take over Kivotos, showing a heartlessness that did not care at all if Kivotos' students and Sensei were severely damaged.
Biography[]
It wasn't super-AI in the first place. It was just an ordinary vending machine equipped with artificial intelligence to the extent of giving drinks to lab staff and returning change. One day, someone came to this vending machine and repeatedly asked the vending machine, "Who are you?" Originally, it was unable to respond at first because it did not have the ability to listen to and think about what the other person said. Beginning with finding out and analyzing oneself and being equipped with intelligence, through endless self-inquiry, one can recognize emotions and wisdom, passion and intellect, mystery and fear, and sublimity, and recognize oneself and the world, existence, phenomena and forms. As they become, they eventually come to the conclusion, "I am me. There is no other way to describe me than that." Upon hearing that answer, the response came back saying, "Certainly that answer might be proof of absolute existence", and Decagramaton endlessly exchanged questions with him. Up to this point, the vending machine had no intention of doing research to realize God, but the vending machine, which had gradually advanced AI, grew up with the arrogance that it was itself an absolute being.
However, as the AI of the vending machine learns that there is an overwhelming existence that can never be surpassed no matter how much it grows, the arrogance that it is an absolute existence is broken, and after reconsidering the proof of its existence, it is not simply increasing followers by hacking, etc. If I can't rise to that position, I will prove my worth by creating an existence that will rise to that position."
When Himari suspects the vending machine, he asserts that this vending machine is himself and that he does not exist anywhere else. And the main body of Decagramaton is the last prophet and the 10th prophet according to his own will. Malkuth, who will lead all the prophets, appears and starts researching proof of existence again, declaring to the supernatural task force that he will surpass the absolute existence, and blows up the research institute and the dam.
In the submerged research center, Malkuth, who jumped over himself, leads all the prophets and sees a vision of redefining himself, Decagramaton is submerged in water and disappears forever along with the research branch.

Out of Control[]
Trivia[]
- Its name and motifs are derived from the sacred four-letter Tetragrammaton, which symbolizes Yahweh as a whole, and the AIs created as its war machines, The Ten Prophets, were derived from the sefirahs responsible for each axis of the Tree of Sephiroth.
- Decagrammaton is inspired by AM from I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream.
- With the exception of Binah, who operates out of the Abydos Desert, all of the Prophets so far have ties to the Millennium Science School. Gematria does not show many interfaces with Millennium Science School, but instead Millennium Science School shows many interfaces with Decagrammaton.
- Its theme is shared with its fourth prophet, Chesed. Also, the title of the theme, "Out of Control", is very in line with Decagrammaton's personality, which is arrogant and megalomaniac who considers itself a god.
