The Decepticon Protoforms are the initial form of the Decepticons in the Transformers franchise. Most of them act as soldiers.

Biography[]

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen[]

The Decepticon Protoforms are first seen in the desert where they, along with the Constructicons, ambushed the Autobots and succeeded killing the Arcee Triplets. They all were killed by Airstrike's explosive bombs.

Transformers: Human Alliance[]

Decepticon Protoforms appear as enemies encountered in the game. Taking place between the second and third movies, the Decepticon Protoforms were tasked by Megatron to protect the energy tower.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon[]

The Decepticon Protoforms appear in the sequel film, some of them were awakened on the moon and moved to Earth due to Sentinel's space bridge teleportation dimension. They directly assisted and were tasked by Sentinel Prime to collect and activate the pillars, with their secret goal being to revive Cybertron by purging Earth. Several individuals participated in the invasion and the battle of Chicago, where they managed to take the Autobots hostage and executed Wheeljack, but didn't plan well due to the mothership's destruction by Wheelie and Brains. The remaining of them were either slain by Wreckers or in hiding.

Transformers: The Last Knight[]

The Decepticon Protoforms reappear once again in the fifth movie, where they're summoned by Quintessa. They were tasked to protect the staff in Cybertron. They are seen fighting with Autobots and human defense force, and all of them were presumably killed offscreen.
