The Decepticons are the main antagonists of the Transformers franchise, they are a group of ruthless cybernetic warriors who share an intense rivalry with the Autobots, led by Megatron or some cases Galvatron, but throughout the years there have been many others leaders notable ones are: Starscream, Scorponok, and Shockwave. Their actions sparked the Great War, in some universes, mythological figures such as The Fallen, Unicron are portrayed as the overarching inspirations for the Decepticons's foundation or even the political deceivers such as Sentinel Prime are considered the conduit. Their war is often the result of the planet Cybertron's near destruction, leading to other colonies, planets and culture caught and killed, but the main resource of Resurgence is usually Earth due to its abundance of energy. Some members do have sense of honor, and even joined Autobots side as their redemption arc.
