Declan is a supporting antagonist in Season 2 of the 2021 Disney+ series Monsters at Work, a sequel series to the 2001 Pixar film Monsters, Inc.
He is a male monster who works for Fear Co. He is similar in appearance to Duncan P. Anderson, MIFT's second-in-command in Monsters, Inc., but lacks the same character traits as him, as well as having a beard. He's also Duncan P. Anderson's evil twin/clone and archenemy.
He is voiced by Richard Ayoade, who also played The Snowman in Danger Mouse and Professor Marmalade in The Bad Guys.
Personality[]
Declan is the complete opposite of Duncan, modest about his position as Deputy Supervisor of Fear Co. Scare Floor, appreciates Tylor's status as a college student and wants to make his father proud.
Despite this, Declan is not above laughing at the misfortunes of others, as seen when he can't help but laugh at Duncan, who is injured during a Monsters, Inc. softball game. and Fear Co.
We soon learn that Declan's kindness was a cover, as he blindly follows Johnny's evil instructions to the point of having a pseudo-sword battle with Duncan when MIFT arrives to stop Johnny's evil plans. He also is tasked to guard Fear Co.'s receiving station when it is filled with mixed energy with Joy and Skyler.
