The Decreator is the main antagonist of Paw Patrol, the second episode in the 2 episode End of the World Arc in Doom Patrol season 1. He is an eye in the sky who is worshipped by the Cult of the Unwritten Book and has the ability to "Decreate" anything by just looking at it. It is based on the being of the same name from the original comics.

Biography[]

The Decreator is a being worshipped by the cult of the unwritten book and is said to decreate the world with the help of Elliot Patterson (The Book). It is dedicated to the complete eradication of all existence, and has the power to make things spontaneously disappear from reality. The Cult of the Unwritten Book worships this invincible creature, and they dedicate themselves to releasing him on the world. Although they succeeded in letting him loose, they were ultimately thwarted by the Doom Patrol.

Mr. Nobody, despite not wanting to help the heroes wanted to continue the story and the decreation of all existence was putting a stop in his plans of endlessly torturing the Doom Patrol. Mr. Nobody approached Niles Caulder explaining the situation in panic and the two formed a temporary alliance to stop the Decreator. Using Jane, the Doom Patrol where able to alter time in order to go back to when Jane was in a mental hospital in which Jane started a cult opposing the Decreator and having them worship a new god known as the Recreator. This worshipping brought the Recreator into existence, an opposing force who would "Recreate" anything the Decreator decreated. Jane also told the asylum inmates to dance when the Decreator arrived.

Years later back in the present the now elderly members of Janes Cult began to dance when they realized that the Decreator had arrived. However the Decreator quickly decreated them. Soon the Recreator appeared and started recreating all the people and places that the Decreator had destroyed. Thwarted, the Decreator stopped his mission and stopped Decreating.
