Deep Blue is the main antagonist of Tokyo Mew Mew. He is the leader of the aliens who have come to Earth, wishing to "reclaim" it.
He was voiced by Megumi Ogata in Japanese from original series and Scottie Ray in 4Kids English.
Biography[]
Deep Blue is the leader of the aliens who wishes to reclaim Earth and exterminate humanity. He came to Earth many years before the others, in the form of the human boy, Masaya Aoyama. He was dormant inside Masaya's body, so he grew up without any knowledge of his true self. He commands Kish, Pie, and Tart from a light in the other dimension that is their base of operations. He is also known as the Blue Knight, which was another personality created by Masaya's will to protect Ichigo Momomiya. Near the end of the series, Masaya transforms into Deep Blue due to discovering his identity as the Blue Knight. Masaya is able to defeat Deep Blue by releasing the Final Mew Aqua and sacrificing himself (but is later revived when the remaining Mew Aqua is released).
Appearance[]
Deep Blue's true form has very pale skin, long black hair, and bright blue eyes. Like the other aliens, he has large pointed ears. He wears a long blue coat, similar to the one worn by the Blue Knight.
Personality[]
Deep Blue has a cold personality and is seen to be rather heartless. He will stop at nothing to achieve his goals even if it means killing his own subordinates. He despises humanity for what they have done to the Earth and wishes to exterminate them.
Powers and Abilities[]
Deep Blue wields the same sword as the Blue Knight. He also has the ability to fly, teleport, and create portals to other dimensions. He is able to create large energy blasts from his hands.
