| ~ Delacion, before leaving Earth with it's fleet. |
Delacion (デラシオン Derashion) is the main antagonist of Ultraman Cosmos vs. Ultraman Justice: The Final Battle. Delacion was voiced by Chisako Hara, the wife of late Akio Jissoji, one of the directors of Ultraman.
Biography[]
Respected as the judge of the universe, Delacion is a being who aims to protect the peace of the universe through the concept of universal justice. For this reason, she aligned with Ultraman Justice in an attempt to fight the chaos in the universe.
Delacion gave a prophecy about the chaos of Sandros two thousand years ago. For that, they sent Ultraman Justice to prevent the threat of Sandros and Justice accompanied by Cosmos to protect the universe.
However, they predicted that humans would become a threat to the universe. They immediately started jamming Earth's communication's, so as to not allow then to call their friends and allies from space to aide them, leaving Earth isolated and almost alone in their fight with the exception of the few kaiju and alien allies they have.
Sending the Glokers, the robotic foot soldiers of Delacion's armies, they go on a rampage on earth and Delacion assures that they will not let a single human live on earth with Justice having defeated Cosmos, who was the protector of Earth, who has messed up Delacion's plans. However, Julie/Ultraman Justice eventually had a change of heart and rebelled against Delacion and it's armies. As he was accompanied by the revived Ultraman Cosmos, both Justice and Cosmos destroyed all of Delacion's remaining Gloker foot soldiers, including Gloker Bishop and they flew off into space to destroy Giga Endra itself. When Ultraman Cosmos and Justice were hit by a doomsday ray from Giga Endra, they merged into Ultraman Legend and because the Ultraman's power was so strong, Giga Endra, Delacion's most powerful weapon, finally exploded in a massive fiery explosion, as Ultraman Legend stood victorious in the aftermath. Ultraman Legend then separated and turned back into the two Ultra warriors Ultraman Cosmos and Ultraman Justice respectfully.
After Delacion's defeat, this is when Delacion finally revealed itself to be a cosmic space entity to both Ultramen as well as Earth and it's allies. Delacion asked the two, why they would risk their lives for humanity. As Delacion started trusting the Ultras after listening to their sides as to why Earth and humanity should be spared, they quickly changed their view towards humanity while leaving them unharmed, upon realizing that humans despite all their flaws, they are kind and compassionate beings capable of doing both good and correcting their mistakes. After that Delacion and it's fleet disappeared and left for parts unknown, entrusting humanity's future and hoping that one day they will all become friends and eventually allies, once Delacion comes to check in on their progess.
Personality Traits[]
Delacion is widely regarded by many as a well respected universal judge. It is a well intentional extremist. She prophesied that the inhabitants of Earth (humans, animals, and monsters) would one day eventually become cosmic threats in the future. So while she does have a justification for her sending her Glokers and Ultraman Justice, she ultimately failed to realize their potential for goodness, to make themselves better, and the fact that many of them really just want to live their lives in peace which one of the things that make Delacion a poor judge of character, however after being convinced that humanity was not a threat she starts to change her views on humanity, hopefully becoming a better person herself in the future and be less judgemental.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Prophecy: Delacion is known as being able to see into the future and determine what species will become a threat to universal peace.
- Glokers/Giga Endra: Delacion has total control over the Gloker Army and the doomsday weapon Giga Endra.
- Infini Over: Delacion's true appearance is perpetually obscured by an aura of light that surrounds it. What additional powers this aura has is unknown.
Trivia[]
- Delacion's motive to destroy humanity to protect the universe is similar to that of Chaos Header, though Delacion's attacks were carried out after it came to a genuine conclusion that humans were a threat, as opposed to Chaos Header's corruption leading him to attempt to take control of the universe by force.
