~ Delara reporting to the Illuminati and her true nature. |
Delara Auzenne is a supporting character in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, secretly serving as an antagonist. On the surface, she is a highly experienced Criminal Psychologist and was assigned to Task Force 29 during the incident in Prague. Delara's reasons for joining the force stem from a strong desire to help others learn to cope with their traumas and overcome their personal demons, while still being a very capable officer and noted for her hostage negotiation skills. This all merely a cover-up though, as in reality she is actually an agent of The Illuminati, sent to Prague to monitor and Agent Adam Jensen for unknown reasons.
She was voiced by Mylène Dinh-Robic.
Personality[]
Who the woman known as Delara actually is isn't known, but she excels at manipulation and deception and is utterly cold-hearted. Under the guise of Doctor Auzenne she is a calm and supportive person, who only wishes to help those around her. Witnessing the tragedy of the Aug Incident firsthand, she abandoned her psychological therapy in the private sector and went public, wanting to help make a difference and aid those struggling with past traumas and ease the pain and worries of her coworkers. How much of this story, if any, is actually true, is unknown, for her true loyalties lie with the evil cabal secretly ruling the world and follows her orders to advance their agenda without question or hesitation.
