The Delos (デロス人 Derosu Jin) are a race of ancient beings related to humans, and the final antagonists in Ultraman Max. A subterranean race of humans closely related to modern humanity, the Delos People became highly advanced in their millennia beneath the surface of the Earth. However, when climate change caused by the people of the surface threatened their home, the Delos People used their incredible technology to wage war against the surface, with the end goal of reverting Earth to a time before surface human industry damaged it.
Biography[]
The Delos are an ancient race that lived beneath the earth's surface for many years until their race was threatened by the toxic fumes from the surface state's manufacturing plants. In order to save their race, they sent Scout Berserke to analyze Ultraman Max, and find his strongest attack and create a weapon powerful that could defeated Max.
After the Scout Berserke was destroyed by Ultraman Max, the Delos people sent many more of their robots to the surface and threatened to attack within thirty hours if the humans didn't stop polluting. The Poseidon base is immediately destroyed, prompting DASH to send Mizuki and Kaito in DASH Bird 3 to dig into the Earth's mantle. After reaching their destination, DASH Bird 3 fell and Mizuki was injured on the inside. Kaito immediately came to the city of Delos after their atmospheric converter appeared at every UDF base on Earth. Kaito tries to transform into Ultraman Max, but the hero claims that he can't interfere with the war between the original civilizations. Kaito was then attacked by Satellite Berserke, while about to finish him off, Mizuki threatened to blow up the place with DASH Bird 3, but was too weak and was on the verge of death. Seeing how hard Kaito tried and immediately managed to bring him back to life, the Delos people saw that the plan to force Earth back into its original state was wrong, but had launched Giga Berserke with no way of recalling it. Kaito transformed into Max and brought Mizuki to the surface before attacking Giga Berserke.
After Delos launched the Giga Berserk, the giant robot made a full-scale attack on Tokyo. Ultraman Max appears to surface to stop the robots from underground, but the color timer goes off right before the battle. After Ultraman Max approached, he was trapped in the tentacles of Giga Berserke's energy and immediately separated Kaito from him using Max Galaxy to gently blow him away as Ultraman Max turned to stone and died. DASH immediately uses plans to use Max Galaxy to revive Max. After using the Guardian satellite system to coordinate solar energy, the Galaxy Max was escorted by DASH, but Giga Berserke began to untangle the cables. Kaito uses his body to launch Max Galaxy and immediately revives Max. After the hero grows to the size of Giga Berserke, the Galaxy Max and Maximum Swords lot is needed to reduce the titanic monsters to dust and end with the Maximum Strength of the Galaxy Sword. With the Giga Berserkes defeated, the Delos People and humanity were simultaneously saved.
