The Age of Zeus[]

Demeter makes few appearances prior to Sam's capture, although she does heal Sam's wounds so that Zeus can make the deal to her to become the next Artemis. Sam asks for a few days to think about it, and Zeus gives her three days. On the third day, Sam's TITAN squad arrive on Olympus to save her, sparing her from making the choice between becoming Artemis or being killed. Demeter rushes off to protect Hera and Zeus.

As the remaining TITANs get to Zeus' location, Hera is revealed to already be dead, crushed by the collapsing debris of Mount Olympus, which is falling apart due to all the damage. Demeter is holding Hera's head in her arms, crying, trying to heal Hera and bring her back, but she is unable to.

Demeter is killed in the explosion caused by Zeus' death, vaporized to ash.
