The Demons are the main antagonistic forces in The Dark Pictures Anthology - Little Hope. They are focused on killing their doubles after the protagonists have witnessed each of their executions.

The leader of the demons can be considered to be Simon Carver, as he is the one who carried out the executions for each of the demons and thus, caused them to torment the protagonists.
Common Demons[]
The Drowned Demon is the first demon the protagonists encounter and is the double of Angela. The demon comes out of the river, where she was executed and drowned. She will then attempt to catch Angela in her chains and draw her close enough to vomit black ooze into Angela's mouth, suffocating her. If Angela escapes from the river, the demon will continue to pursue her, such as attacking and dragging her into the sewers and eventually making one final attempt at the burned down Clarke House. If Angela fails to break any of her locked traits by the end of the game or Mary was executed, the demon will kill her. This demon is the reincarnation of Anne Clarke, who suffocated due to the smoke of the Clarke House fire.
The Hanged Demon is the possible second demon that the protagonists will encounter and is the double of Taylor. The demon appears in a neighborhood and chases down Taylor and Daniel, mainly focused on Taylor. She will pursue them to the church. After the group escapes to the outside of the church, the demon will attempt to attack and kill Taylor by using her long tongue to grab and snap Taylor's neck. Following this encounter, she will attack Taylor two more times in the woods before appearing at the Clarke House and killing Taylor if she has any locked traits or if Mary was executed. This demon is the reincarnation of Tanya Clarke. If Tanya tries to escape the house by climbing down the drain pipe, she will slip and the scarf around her neck will hang her.
The Burned Demon is the possible second demon to torment the group and is the double of Taylor. The demon will attack Taylor in the same places as the Hanged Demon but will burn Taylor alive or puncture her spine. The demon will appear at the Clarke House and will kill Taylor if she has any locked traits or if Mary was executed. The demon is a recreation of Tanya Clarke. If Tanya goes back through the house to escape, she will be burned to death by a piece of backdrift.
The Impaled Demon is the third demon to torment the protagonists and is the double of Daniel. The demon will attack Daniel outside the church, where it will try to impale Daniel. He is then encountered again in the woods and next, underneath the factory before finally showing up at the Clarke House, killing Daniel if he has any locked traits or Mary was executed. This demon is the reincarnation of Dennis Clarke, who fell from the roof of the Clarke House and is impaled by the fence spikes below.
The Crushed Demon is the fourth and final demon to torment the group and is the double of John. He appears outside the Clarke House towards the end of the game and will crush John's jaw if given the chance. After that, if Mary was executed or John has any locked traits, the demon will kill him. The demon is the reincarnation of James Clarke, who died due to being crushed by debris in the Clarke House fire.
