Biography[]
Past[]
Alongside the original Jiraiya, Demost was one of the two aliens who first brought the Pako to Earth. They landed in feudal Japan with the intention of conquering it, but after being shown kindness by the humans living there, Jiraiya and the Pako chose to give up on their mission and peacefully coexist with the humans instead. Demost thus decided to execute the Pako for its betrayal, but was defeated by Jiraiya and chained up in Mount Kongo.
Return[]
Because of the tremors caused by Jiraishin's awakening, Demost was unsealed from his imprisonment and freed in the present year of 1988. Soon after his release, Demost clashed with Jiraiya and his allies, as well as the Sorcerers Clan. As the first Jiraiya was the one who sealed him, Demost sought vengeance against his descendants.
Demost was later approached by Dokusai, who proposed an alliance between the Space Ninja and Sorcerers Clan to defeat Jiraiya and obtain the Pako. Demost refused Dokusai's offer after reading his mind and deducing that Dokusai was planning on betraying him as soon as Jiraiya was defeated.
Soon after, Demost began searching for the Dark Sword, the sword which he had originally wielded when he came to Earth. The Dark Sword was discovered inside a rural village by Vermillion Lizard, who became possessed by its evil power upon claiming it. Both Demost and Jiraiya fought the possessed Vermillion Lizard for the sword, though while Jiraiya was able to free his friend from the Dark Sword's influence, Demost was able to reobtain the sword.
Despite their earlier clash, Demost later approached Dokusai and decided to team up with him for a plan to defeat Jiraiya. Demost's plan was to spread rumors that the Yamaji family had obtained the Pako and was keeping its riches to themselves. To accomplish this, Demost approached fortune teller Henry Rakuchin and, proclaiming himself to be a heroic World Ninja, asked him to spread word that the hunt for the Pako was over and that the Yamajis had found it in order to put an end to the conflict. At the same time, the Sorcerers Clan used their underworld contacts to circulate rumors that the Yamaji family was hoarding the riches of the Pako and refusing to share them with anyone. The spread of these rumors led Baron Owl, Wild and Mafuuba to believe the Yamajis were selfish and turn against them, leaving a distraught Toha unable to become Jiraiya now that he had lost his friends. However, the World Ninjas and Jiraiya eventually uncovered Dokusai and Demost's deception and went to confront them. Their plan thwarted, Demost retreated for the time being and broke off his alliance with Dokusai.
The Pako's location would eventually be unearthed as Demost's homeworld of the Dark Star approached Earth with the goal of destroying the Pako for its betrayal. This soon led to skirmish between Demost, Jiraiya, the Sorcerers Clan, and various other World Ninjas over who would obtain the Pako first. The Sorcerers Clan were able to steal the Pako, but Demost tracked them to their base and ambushed them, claiming the Pako for himself. Demost prepared to execute the Pako, but the Pako was able to flee and reunite with Jiraiya. As Demost and the Sorcerers Clan descended on the Pako, Demost faced off with Jiraiya once more. In a climactic fight, Demost was struck down and defeated by Jiraiya with his Light Vacuum Blade.
Demost's spirit was later among the evil World Ninjas revived by Madam Spider to take on Jiraiya and his allies. Their spirits were summoned again by Dokusai to enlarge himself.
After the Pako left Earth in Jiraishin, the Dark Star changed course to pursue it into space, averting the world's destruction by the hands of Demost's race.
Uchu Sentai Kyuranger vs. Space Squad[]
Demost was pursued by Space Sheriff Shaider and the new Jiraiya, Touma Adachi, but escaped to the World of Kyuranger. There, he enticed Hammie into stealing the Neo Kyutamas, telling her they could be used to revive her ninja master. Once Hammie brought him four Neo Kyutamas, Demost used them to revive Mele, Juzo Fuwa, Basco ta Jolokia and Escape as his henchmen to assist him in conquering the World of Kyuranger. At the same time, Demost killed the Space Federation presidential aide Kimiko Naruse and disguised himself as her to infiltrate the Space Federation government. There, Demost influenced Tsurugi Ohtori and the Kyurangers working for him into going after Hammie, while at the same time disguising himself as Shou Ranpou and convincing Lucky and his friends to go shield Hammie, in order to trick the Kyurangers into fighting with one another.
When Hammie decided not to go through with the plan since it met making her friends fight with one another, Demost revealed he had already revived Hammie's ninja master and used her to blackmail Hammie into continuing to work for him. He sent her to assassinate Tsurugi Ohtori, but Hammie found she could not bring herself to. Demost then directed Escape to execute Hammie, but Tsurugi pushed her out of the way. As this was going on however, Balance and Naga infiltrated Demost's hideout and rescued Hammie's master, allowing Hammie to fight on the side of the Kyurangers once more. Unaccepted, the disguised Kimiko revealed her true form as Demost. Demost nearly killed Hammie but Mele sacrificed herself to block the attack.
Demost conjured two apparitions of himself so he could fight the Space Sheriffs, Hammie and Lucky and Tsurugi all at once. While the other Kyurangers dealt with Demost's revived henchmen, Space Sheriffs Gavan and Shaider and the two red Kyurangers defeated his apparitions. Meanwhile, the real Demost overwhelms Hammie, causing she became defenseless. As Demost is about to finish off Hammie for Fumein, suddenly she able to fight against him once more after being empowered by memory of her friends. With Hammilion Impact finisher using Neo Kyutama from Mele, Hammie was then able to defeat Demost, causing his sword drops, then he explodes. After his spell was destroyed, Escape, Juzo Fuwa and Basco ta Jolokia, returned to their afterlife as they were disintegrates into Neo Kyutamas. Demost was taken into custody by Geki and Shu right after.
