~ Dennis' last words as he is killed by Neo-Nazis. |
Dennis Markowski is a minor antagonist in the crime drama series Breaking Bad. He is the manager of Lavandería Brillante industrial laundromat, which Gus Fring uses as a cover for his drug empire's meth superlab.
He was portrayed by the late Mike Batayeh.
History[]
Season 4[]
In the episode "End Times", when Steve Gomez and another DEA agent come to investigate the laundromat, Dennis initially refuses to let them but relents after Gomez threatens to send in more DEA agents.
Season 5[]
Following Gus Fring's death, Dennis has been arrested and incarcerated for his connection to his organization. He is visited by his lawyer Dan Wachsberger and Mike Ehrmantraut (posing as his paralegal), who tells him that his deal with Gus is still in place. Dennis promises to keep his mouth shut and serve his eight years in prison, but is concerned that an associate of Fring would inform on them now that the hazard pay is gone. Mike reassures Dennis he and the others will be compensated.
Dan is later caught by the DEA, following which Dennis is represented by another attorney. Dennis offers Hank Schrader and Gomez information in exchange for legal immunity. Schrader rejects his proposal, believing he can force one of the other eight former employees of Fring without a bargain. Eventually, Walter White pays Jack Welker's Neo-Nazi gang to assassinate the nine imprisoned henchmen, including Dennis, to prevent them from testifying against him; Dennis is subsequently burned to death in his cell.
