Derek Baum is a minor antagonist of the British TV comedy show, The Peter Serafnowicz Show.
He appears in Episode 1 as the main antagonist of the skits "Kitchen Gun" and "Toilet Grenade." He is a commercial salesman for the products, Kitchen Gun and Toilet Grenade, and attempts to demonstrate the usages by destroying an unnamed woman's dirty kitchen and toilet with them.
He is portrayed by Peter Serafinowicz, who also portrayed many other character in the same show.
Biography[]
In the "Kitchen Gun" sketch, a woman is having a hard time cleaning her kitchen and wishes that there would be an easier way. That is when Derek Baum appears unexpectedly and display his latest product, the Kitchen Gun. With the Kitchen Gun, he fires a barrage of bullets to damage the woman's kitchen, while cleaning it, and laughs completely out of his mind. After he finishes, he declares everything clean again, while the woman cries over her destroyed kitchen.
He appears later again in the "Toilet Grenade" sketch, where the same woman from before is struggling to clean her toilet, and once again wishes for an easier way. Derek Baum appears and advertises his Toilet Grenade, and demonstrates its use by pulling the pin, dropping it into the toilet bowl, and covering it. Within a few seconds the grenade completely annihilates the toilet but cleans it as well. Derek Baum proclaims everything cleaned, and the woman cries again.
