Derrek is one of the main antagonists of the 2021 video game Judge 3D: Court Affairs, serving as The Main Antagonist of Special Case 2.
He is a normal police officer that unexepectedly murdered during an arrest when the victim was arrested on suspicion of using a counterfeit $20 bill. He knelt at the victim's neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds and killed him in an unknown method. Despite him being police, he was still arrested and taken to court for trial for The Judge to decide his fate.
Like many other characters, including The Judge himself, his voice actor is unknown, but it is assumed that the voice is AI generated.
Biography[]
Past[]
Nothing much was known about Derrek, but he joined the police force at one point to serve and protect. This, however, made Derrek go too far during one patrol in which he and his group arrested a victim using a counterfeit $20 dollar bill. He then nelt at the victim's neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds and killed him in an unknown method, resulting in his arrest and his wait to stand for trial, receiving a subpoena from a judge, ordering him to come to court.
Judge 3D: Court Affairs (Special Case 2)[]
He is briefly mentioned by his lawyer, who asks if The Judge won't send a police officer to jail. But he either instead replies "Well, if he's innocent, why should I?" or "A police officer? You mean, a murderous, dirty cop?" Regardless of which option, The lawyer answers that the guy's got the government with him and that he thinks the judge knows what he needs to do now. The judge ignores him and says "See you on court."/then insults the guy by shouting that "I am the government" and that the lawyer and the cop can go to hell. In response, the lawyer warns him to watch his words before leaving the office.
At the day of the trial, the court was in chaos with the prosecuter wishing that Derrek can go to hell while the lawyer tried to explain that what happened was an accident. The judge then banged his gavel three times, yelling "Silence!" and everybody calmed down. The lawyer reveals he brought a witness, who is a bystander who was at the time of the incident. The civillain claims that he saw some police officers arresting a civillain and that although the civllian expressed more than once, he had difficulty breathing because Derrek did not take his knee from the man's neck.
Good Judge Path[]
Derrek then interrupts, saying that he was just doing his job and that the victim was dangerous, so he had to make sure everyone was safe. The judge replies that he has evidince to suggest otherwise.The police officer pretended to act confused, saying there was no one else that saw the incident and asked how he was gonna prove it, so the judge presented the CD disc of camera footage and showed it to the court. This shocked Derrek, explaining he hid it and tells the judge he was just doing his job and asks to be let go, but he faced prison time instead. Before the guards take him away, he protests that he was just doing what needed to be done and questions the justice system.
Bad Judge Path[]
Derrek then interrupts, saying that he was just doing his job and that the victim was dangerous, so he had to make sure everyone was safe. The judge replies that he has evidince and he can rot in jail for all he cares. The police officer pretended to act confused, saying there was no one else that saw the incident and asked how he was gonna prove it, so the judge presented the CD disc of camera footage and showed it to the court. This shocked Derrek, explaining he hid it and tells the judge he was just doing his job and asks to be let go, but he instead faced a brutal death from execution. However, if he is pardoned from jail by the judge, Derrek simply thanks him for doing his job.

Despite what he has done, Derrek is no fool to make sure what he did was right so he can avoid prison, earning him almost everyone's hatred, disgust and infamous status. During the trial, he claims that the victim was dangerous even though the victim was just using only a $20 counterfeit bill, foreshadowing his selfish and corrupt personality as a police officer. Whenever someone brings up about this crime, Derrek and his lawyer will try to explain that "[He] was just doing his job.} in an attempt to avoid prison.

Derrek is a young man with fair skin, dirty but sleek blonde hair, blue eyes and a regular build. For his attire, he wears a white sleeve coat/shirt and grey pants.
