Martha Winters is a mentally ill woman. When Vicki Grant frist encounters her she is depicted as a woman who does not want to be saved from a flood. She is later given powers by an underwater race of aliens called the Aquarians. They gave her, her powers and the name Destuctress and used her in their plan to take over the world. She was later defeated by Chris King and Vicki Grant.
