Development Devin “Dev” Dimmadome is the deuteragonist of The Fairy Odd Parents A New Wish, serving as the main antagonist of Season 1. He is the son of Dale Dimmadome and grandson of Doug Dimmadome. He is the rival and former friend of Hazel Wells.
Dev is voiced by Kyle McCarley who voiced Simon Laurent in Infinity Train, and Donnie Gil/The Blizzard in Marvel Future Avengers.
History[]
Dev first appears in the premiere of A New Wish mocking Hazel and introducing her to the other kids. He would soon meet up with his dad, Dale who coldly ignores him and later asked about Hazel. Dev would later return where he is forced to partner with Hazel thanks to her wishing to know why Dev is the way he is.
Later, Dev and Hazel bond with each other as they grow closer over time. Then thanks to his actions alongside his father's however his friendship with Hazel gets strained and makes Dev miserable until Peri (who is revealed to be Cosmo and Wanda's son) shows up. Dev's spoiled behavior takes over and forces Peri to make ridiculous wishes, much to his irritation.
Then Dev would later learn of Hazel having godparents like he did and they manage to reconcile again. During the birthday, Hazel and Dev meet Vicky while escaping her he discovers that her dad was stalking Hazel and observing her actions learnt that she wished to get to know Dev, which caused Dev to be angry at her under the belief that she was faking their friendship and told her to leave in despair. After getting into an argument with Peri, he “quits”, and Dev meets Irep, Peri's Anti-Fairy counterpart. The two team up to take over the school. This later fails, when Peri reveals he never gave his two weeks notice, so Dev was still his godchild. After this, Dev goes to look up for anti-fairies.
After doing some research on the Dark Web, which was made by Anti-fairies, he learned they wanted to conquer fairy world, and the real world. Using his drones, Dev built a Big Wand Macro chip to power Anti-Fairy wands. With Irep by his side, Dev took over Fairy World.

Personality[]
Dev is a typical spoiled rich kid who looks down on everyone deep down he is also a sad and lonely as his father coldly neglects him and often uses him as a pawn.

- Being a spoiled antagonizing kid that foils the main protagonist and that was once the godchild of a purple fairy with ties to Cosmo and Wanda, Dev is likely a retake on Remy Buxaplenty from the original series.
