Howdy, partner. Thought you'd never make it!
~ The Devil talks to Buck Crosshaw.
No! You can't beat me! I'm all-powerful! You're nothing! Get away from me! Get away!!! No!
~ The Devil before he is killed by the spirits of the Witch Hunter.

The "Devil" is the overarching main antagonist of "Six Guns." The Devil only appears once in the storyline missions of Six Guns. He appears in the "La Grand Finale" and the "La Grand Finale, Part 2" missions of the storyline. The Devil is revealed to be the murderer that shot Buck Crosshaw's wife. In the final battle between the Devil and Buck Crosshaw, the Devil taunts Buck Crosshaw to get his revenge by shooting him.

Biography[]

History[]

Although not much is known about the Devil's past, he was responsible for killing Buck Crosshaw's wife. Despite Buck Crosshaw knowing that his wife was a Witch, Buck Crosshaw couldn't shoot his own wife, so the Devil offered Buck Crosshaw some assistance to kill his own wife. Due to Buck Crosshaw's drunken state, the Devil was able to make Buck Crosshaw about forget about the death of his own wife easily. With Buck Crosshaw's wife dead, the Devil gave Buck Crosshaw to start his revenge to avenge his wife. The Devil needed Buck Crosshaw to start his revenge, so that the Devil can get the chance to get Buck Crosshaw to go to the resting place and meet each other.

La Grande Finale[]

Before the Witch Hunter dies, he advices Buck Crosshaw to not use the darkness to fight the darkness no matter how tempting. Buck Crosshaw opens up his shirt and sees black veins rapidly spreading across his own body. Buck Crosshaw screams in pain as the veins cover up his entire body. After the painful experience, Buck Crosshaw suddenly sees that the resting place is destroyed and is confused on what had happened. Buck Crosshaw looks around the destroyed resting place until he hears the Devil talk to him behind. Buck Crosshaw turns around and sees the Devil look exactly like himself. The Devil reveals that he killed Buck Crosshaw's wife and it gives Buck Crosshaw a small amount of relief that he didn't kill his wife. Buck Crosshaw prepares to get his gun to kill the Devil and get his revenge for what the Devil had done.

La Grande Finale, Part 2[]

Buck Crosshaw stares around the lightning that is happening around the resting place and the Devil walks towards Buck Crosshaw while telling the latter to get revenge. The Devil stands still in one place and Buck Crosshaw shoots the Devil with his gun. However by shooting the Devil with his gun, Buck Crosshaw is instead shooting himself rather then the enemy. Buck Crosshaw attempts to shoot the Devil a few more times, but instead hurts himself even more. The spirit of the Witch Hunter appears closely to Buck Crosshaw and advises him to not use the Darkness to fight the Devil.

Buck Crosshaw puts down his gun and refuses to shoot the Devil even more which angers the Devil into shooting Buck Crosshaw. The Devil attempts to shoot Buck Crosshaw with his gun, but Buck Crosshaw is defended by the spirit of the Witch Hunter. The Devil instead of using his gun switches to using his dark energy spheres to throw it at the spirit of the Witch Hunter. The dark sphere causes the spirit of the Witch Hunter to fall down due to the pain and the Devil prepares to use his dark energy spheres to kill Buck Crosshaw. Buck Crosshaw runs around the Devil to avoid the Devil's dark energy spheres and hides behind the multiple spirits of the Witch Hunter for defense against the Devil's dark energy spheres.

After the Devil shoots and knocks out the multiple spirits of the Witch Hunter, they all eventually brush off their injuries and surround the Devil. the Devil uses his gun to shoot at the multiple spirits of the Witch Hunter that are surrounding him while proclaiming his invincibility. However, the spirits continue to walk closer towards the Devil before a large explosion occurs that kills the Devil.

Personality[]

The Devil is an intelligent and opportunistic mastermind as he was able to kill Buck Crosshaw's wife while being able to make Buck Crosshaw forget the murder easily due to Buck Crosshaw's drunken state. Upon meeting Buck Crosshaw, the Devil acts completely hostile towards Buck Crosshaw and taunts him for falling in love with a Witch. Before preparing to fight Buck Crosshaw, the Devil taunts Buck Crosshaw to get his revenge by shooting at him. Every time Buck Crosshaw shoots the Devil, the Devil sadistically laughs at Buck Crosshaw every time the latter gets hurt from the gunshots. When Buck Crosshaw gives up his desire for revenge from the Witch Hunter's advice, the Devil calls Buck Crosshaw to be weak for giving up the path of revenge.

Before the Devil is killed by the spirits of the Witch Hunter, the Devil proclaims himself as an all-powerful invincible being that cannot be defeated which shows the Devil's arrogance.
