Devil Doggler is a powerful Earth Imperial Beasts and an antagonist in episode 30 of Hikari Sentai Maskman.
Biography[]
Devil Doggler was sealed within the Underground Dungeon. It was said that whoever defeated it would be able to claim the Royal Underground Blade. After Commander Baraba fell out of favor with Emperor Zeba, he sought to restore his standing by claiming the blade. To do this, he unsealed Devil Doggler so he could fight it, but the Earth Beast overpowered him. Baraba's mother Laraba then appeared to assist him, but both were blown away by the beast.
Baraba continued to fight Devil Doggler until he became too injured to continue on. After Laraba tricked Akira into bringing her to his son, she attempted to stir Baraba into battling the beast once more, but Baraba proved too exhausted to keep fighting. Laraba then charged at Devil Doggler to fight the beast on her own, injuring it but also being killed by it. His mother's death stirred Baraba into getting up and attacking the beast once more, slaying it and claiming the Royal Underground Blade. Baraba then departed from the scene as Okelampa appeared to enlarge Devil Doggler for another fight against the Maskmen. Devil Doggler was defeated again by the Maskmen in Great Five.
