Crucible Knight Devonia is a minor antagonist and an optional boss in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. They are a Crucible Knight who can be found in the Realm of Shadow, in which they travelled to said realm to search for the Crucible's origin. They wield a large hammer as their main weapon.
Appearance[]
Devonia appears as a Crucible Knight, wearing red gold armor emblazoned with the Crucible, the primordial torrent of life. They also wearing a reddish helm with a hammer-like crest.
Biography[]
Devonia was the longest-serving member of the Crucible Knights, an ancient order of knights who possess strong devotion to the Crucible, the primordial form of the Erdtree and serve under Godfrey, the first Elden Lord and husband to Queen Marika the Eternal. Devonia is said that they had left the Lands Between to embark on this quest in searching of the crucible's origin. Eventually, their quest brought them to the Realm of Shadow.
Shadow of the Erdtree[]
The Tarnished will encounter Devonia at the Ancient Ruins of Rauh. The Crucible Knight will immediately attack with their hammer and Cucible incantation before eventually being defeated in a battle.
Trivia[]
- Devonia is the only Crucible Knight who wields a hammer as other Crucible Knights are commonly seen wielding swords and staffs made of red gold and imbued with Crucible incantations.
