Dex is the secondary antagonist of Strike Force Heroes 2 and the supporting character in Strike Force Heroes: Extraction and Strike Force Heroes 3. He is a mercenary fighting for the Heroes. However, he betrayed them by murdering West for monetary reasons, and Dex actually allied with Globex. After being crushed by a mech controlled by the Globex Leader, Dex was brought to life by becoming an unwilling clone of Globex. However, he can be saved by the Heroes, and Dex will fight for the Heroes again.

Biography

Little is known about Dex's past, except he was a mercenary, working for money for unknown reasons.

Strike Force Heroes 2

Dex first appears in the second level along with Nathan, West, Jyn and Tower, and all of them challenge the player to test their mettle. When their base is attacked by Globex, Dex mysteriously goes missing. He, along with Nathan and the Player, go to find the same scientist from the previous game. The Scientist redirects them to DNA scientist. The team steals the convoy from Globex and heads to the mansion to meet Iagi.

Back at the base, Dex betrays the team by shooting West in the head before fleeing the scene in the Heroes' plane. The team realize Dex has gone to kill Iagi. So they attempts to reach the mansion before Dex.

Unfortunately for the team, Dex did arrive sooner, and he has killed Iagi, then produced a clone of him. Most likely either destroying or losing the cure in the process.

At the fourteenth level, the Player confronts Dex who declares "It's time to get crushed!'. Suddenly, Dex is crushed by the foot of the GlobeX Mech controlled by the Globex Leader. During the fight with the remaining clones of Globex, the leader states that "Dex was a GREAT pawn, but he was too expensive to keep around.".

Strike Force Heroes 3

Dex, along with Nathan, Jyn and Tower who are all captured from the second game, is reprogrammed as a clone after being healed from wounds sustained from being crushed by the Mech foot.

Dex would be fought and join the Heroes again.

Personality

Dex was a mercenary fighting at the side of SFH for years, but only for money. He promised Globex for money, he had gone rogue and tried to convince the Heroes that their leader, West was a traitor. Therefore, Dex ended up betraying them by murdering West. According to the Globex Leader, Dex was a great pawn, but he was too expensive to keep around. By being a pawn for Globex, Dex was brought back to life under the control of The Scientist.
