Dezono Qua is a minor antagonist in Star Wars: Dark Times. He is a noble from the planet Esseles and is also a owner of slaves. He is secretly a serial child murderer who eats all the the children he buys which leads to his death by Jedi master Dass Jennir when Jennir learns Qua killed his best friend’s daughter, Resa Greenbark.
Biography[]
Dezono Qua was born on the planet Esseles. He was known for using slave labor, especially that of children. He was despised by most other nobles on the planet for his slave labor, and he lived alone with his family of droids. He usually bought slaves from a Chagrian slave trader named Orso Meeto.
When Das Jenner confronts him looking for the girl named Resa Greenbark, who was one of Qua's latest child slaves, he at first tries to buy him off. However, Qua ends up revealing how he killed and devoured her, which he does to most of his slaves he buys. He then reveals to the Jedi Master that he does this because he can, showing no remorse for doing so. Das Jenner responds to this by killing Qua on the spot.
Personality[]
Dezono Qua is a cold, ruthless man who has a twisted habit of eating children. He's a psychopath who believes all aliens who aren't humans are lesser species and that entitles him to do as he wishes to him. He's also a coward, as he abandons his droids to save his own skin, and begs for his life at first. However his sadism overrides his cowardice, as he spends his final moments talking about how delicious Resa was, which proves to be his undoing.
