Deep Sea Fish-man Dezzle is the second-born son of Mother Melzard and a major antagonist in B-Fighter Kabuto.
He is assisted by his younger brother Dord. He often competed with his older brother Raija to defeat the B-Fighters and be named heir of the Melzard Tribe. He was later upgraded into a stronger form called Dezzle the Great for battle against the B-Fighters.
He is voiced by Kaneto Shiozawa.
Biography[]
When the Melzard Tribe surfaced in the year 2005, ten years after the Jamahl's invasion, Dezzle and his siblings stood before Mother Melzard as she declared their invasion of the planet. When Mother Melzard gave birth to the Melzard Monster Elebammoth, Raija stepped up to lead the Melzard Tribe's initial attack while Dezzle and his supporters stayed behind in Melzardos.
After Raija's initial attack was repelled by the B-Fighters, Mother Melzard allowed her second son Dezzle to lead the next attack and gave birth to a new monster, Zazanyoda. Dezzle had Zazanyoda assume the guise of a handsome teacher and lure numerous female students to be captured so their energy could by siphoned off for the Melzard Tribe's purposes. However, the B-Fighters uncovered the plot and managed to free the Melzard Tribe's prisoners before destroying Zazanyoda.
Dezzle and Raija were later sent out by Mother Melzard to recover the Insect Medals after they fell to Earth. Although Raija was killed in the process of obtaining four of the Medals, Dezzle soon gained another rival when Mother used the four Medals to create the B-Crushers, who quickly became her new favorite generals. In a bid to regain his favor with Mother, Dezzle went with Dord to confront the B-Fighters himself. After the B-Fighters beat him the first time with help from B-Fighter Min, Dezzle returned to Melzardos and asked Mother Melzard to remodel him and fuse him with his guards, transforming him into Dezzle the Great. In his new superpowered form, Dezzle intervened in a confrontation between the B-Fighters and the B-Crushers to battle the B-Fighters himself. Dezzle initially overpowered the B-Fighters, but after Min gave them his Semission Magazine, the B-Fighters used it to destroy Dezzle, leaving behind only his head.
However, Dezzle and Raija would soon be reborn from the darkness in new superpowered forms, with which they were able to overpower the B-Fighters on their initial sortie. Although they had competed with each other in the past, the two brothers put their rivalry aside and began collaborating on schemes to defeat the B-Fighters and take over the Earth.
Dezzle and Dord later accompanied B-Crushers Killmantis and Beezack when they were sent on an advance attack to destroy the B-Fighters' base. While the two B-Crushers infiltrated the hanger, Dezzle disguised himself as the B-Crushers' mentor Professor Masaru Osanai to sneak inside their base. When Kengo and Ran grew suspicious of him, Dezzle revealed his disguise and attacked both of them. The two B-Fighters transformed to do battle and were soon joined by Kabuto, who managed to strike down and destroy Dezzle and Dord along with him.
