"I like my fashion loud, and my music louder."
~ Dia's quote.

Dia Mante is an antagonist turned deuteragonist in Rainbow High Season 4.

She is a member of Shadow High and primarily focuses on Fashion Design & Music.

Dia is voiced by Alex Cazares.

Appearance[]

Physical Appearance[]

Dia is a dark indigo skinned girl with a medium build. She has shiny iridescent white hair styled in a short bob with holographic shine, blue eyes and black eyeliner, with iridescent white eyeliner bordering her whole eye, and glossy dark purple colored lips.

For her outfit, she wears an iridescent white sparkly puffy jacket with “SH” patterns in a holographic material. She wears a glittery diamond one piece bodysuit underneath, Shadow High printed tank top with white holographic shorts with pockets showing. She also wears black laced tennis shoes with iridescent white soles attached with tiny strapped pouches on both sides of her footwear. For her accessories, she wears silver stud earrings, and silver white "SH" printed framed sunglasses. Her fingernails are painted iridescent white, and are pointy.

Personality[]

Dia is described as being very thankful of her hometown and culture, loving Shadow High but waiting to head back home. In the animated series, she is seen passionate about her art.

However, she is also shown to have a bit of an ego and a problem with liking to be in control, always wanting to be the one in the spotlight. This can make her very domineering when put in a group project, wanting to be the leader of the team while pushing for her ideas to be upfront and speaking for the group instead of letting anyone else voice their opinions, ideas, or concerns. Despite this, she is not shown to be outright selfish and seems to be oblivious that her actions are not fair for others from the excitement she feels from being a part of the group project, which gets her into trouble.

History[]

Introducing Project Rainbow[]

Dia quickly introduces herself to the audience, letting everyone know that she's ready to win Project Rainbow.

Shadow High vs Shadow High[]

Dia once again makes a quick introduction, with Sunny and Luna telling the group about their new project. Dia happily volunteers to be the leader and begins showing her vision. As they begin, Dia's need to be in charge and the center of attention comes out, quickly annoying her peers. Due to her poor leadership and refusal to be a team player, Dia is voted out by her peers, with her exiting in disappointment shortly after.

The Semi-Finals: Part 2[]

Dia is briefly seen sitting in the audience of the final four's challenge.

Project Rainbow Finals: Part 1[]

While she first appears with her teammates in the background, she is later on chosen to work in the finale by Shanelle, with Dia being honored. Once they get to work however, everyone appears staring at them, with Dia noticing it most.

Project Rainbow Finals: Part 2[]

With Dia now working with Shanelle and Rexx, she joins everyone in having fun as they finish up their designs, with Dia in particular bonding well with her partners Priscilla and Michelle. Once both teams completed their looks, she was then seen in the audience, watching and cheering for both teams.

Trivia[]

  • "Diamante" is a Latin word that means "Diamond".
  • Her name appears to be almost the same as the Mexican-Italian-American hard rock/alternative rock singer Diamante, which is most likely unintentional.
