Diablo is a skeletal demon responsible for creating the Crispers and the main antagonist of the Kamen Rider 50th anniversary movie Kamen Rider: Beyond Generations.
He is a demon equivalent to Giff who was sealed inside the Diablo Stamp, before being released by the Deadmans. By the year 2071, he conquered the world and turned it into a place filled with demons, leading Kamen Rider Century to travel back in time in the hopes of preventing his return.
He is voiced by Yoji Ueda, who previously voiced Dyudyuonshu in Kamen Rider Gaim.
Biography[]
1971[]
At the same time the Giff Stamp was discovered, the Diablo Stamp was found paired with it, but was stolen by Shocker. Shocker used the Diablo Stamp on Ryunosuke Momose to summon Diablo, but after the demon proved difficult to control Shocker re-sealed him in the stamp and locked it away in one of their bases.
2021[]
The Deadmans would later make a move to steal the Diablo Stamp from an abandoned Shocker base, in order to enlist Diablo's help in reawakening Giff. Aguilera broke the stamp to free Diablo, who absorbed the Crisper Stamps into body and used it to create the four Crispers to serve him. Diablo would send each of the Crispers to a different part of the world to terraform the world for his takeover. While the Sword of Logos Riders did battle against the Crispers, Diablo went to personally confront Ikki Igarashi, only for Ryunosuke Momose to arrive from the future and fuse with his son to become Kamen Rider Century. Century battled Diablo, but Ryunosuke quickly lost control of the transformation due to his son's resentment at him. While the other Riders struggled to contain Century, Diablo would depart from the scene.
Diablo traveled to Mt. Fuji and caused it to erupt so he could absorb energy from it to become stronger. Ikki Igarashi became Kamen Rider Revi and went to stop him, but Diablo easily manhandled him until Kamen Rider Century showed up. After Century joined Ikki's side, Touma Kamiyama and Vice returned from the future to assist them. While the other Riders defeated Diablo's minions, the four Riders all attacked Diablo and were able to beat him back, but Diablo then plunged himself into Mt. Fuji and absorbed the energy to become giant. Diablo would ultimately be defeated by a combined Rider kick performed by Xross Saber, Revi and Vice Neo Batta Genome, and Century, knocking him into Mt. Fuji and causing him to explode. Thanks to Neo Batta's power however, the eruption was reversed and Mt. Fuji returned to normal.
2071[]
By the year 2071, Diablo succeeded in turning the world into a place overrun by demons, who reanimated several past dark Kamen Riders as demons to act as their enforcers. The future was averted when Diablo was defeated in the present thanks to the efforts of the Fenix Kamen Riders, Sword of Logos Kamen Riders and Kamen Rider Century.
