Diablo is the main antagonist of the 1994 fighting arcade game Primal Rage. He is the leader of Destructive Beasts that opposes the heroic Virtuous Beasts. Although Diablo appears to be a mere dinosaur, it is an entity in form of a dinosaur, capable of displaying certain degree of intelligence and understanding moral agency by segregating good and bad, killing all the good and sparing the evilest.
Biography[]
Diablo was contained in his fiery prison before the Great Cataclysm, deep within the Urth. After the Great Cataclysm that turned Urth back to the Stone Age, drawn by the pain and torment caused by the global catastrophe, Diablo, leader of the Destructive Beasts, has been released from his fiery prison deep within the Urth, he seeks to turn the world into a raging inferno. Determined to pursue his vision for Urth as a dominion of evil, Diablo thrives on inflicting immense pain and agony on his enemies. His followers and foes alike believe that Diablo is evil incarnate. Annihilation of all other dino-beasts is essential for Diablo to continue his reign of terror and carry out his gruesome vision for Urth.
In Diablo's ending, now that he has conquered the planet Urth, he lives to torture it. With none left to oppose him, he begins to burn the entire planet. Sparing only the cruel and vicious, he turns the world into a living hell.
For centuries, he will revel in the inferno he's created, until at last his rule is prophesied to be challenged by a mysterious traveler from across the great sea.
Appearance[]
Diablo's appearance follows that of a Tyrannosaurus. He is crimson red in color, and has dark, black stripes that follow the length of his body. He has two claws on his hands and three on his feet. However, unlike other Coelurosaurs, he is capable of breathing fire.

- Tarbosaurus, a real-life from which Diablo was based upon, is considered the Asian representative of the North American Tyrannosaurus rex, one of the most famous dinosaurs and the base for Sauron. Like most tyrannosaurids, he was a bipedal predator, weighing up to five tonnes and equipped with about sixty large teeth. It had a unique locking mechanism in its lower jaw and the smallest forelimbs relative to body size of all tyrannosaurids, renowned for their disproportionately tiny, two-fingered forelimbs.
