Diacus
Diacus is one of the Warrior Beasts and an antagonist in the Great Mazinger anime, only appearing in the episode "Killer Blow! The Drill Pressure Punch!!".
History[]
Before Diacus was launched by General Julicaesar, Goberius started to attack Venus A. He used his chained mace to open a hole in Venus' abdomen, knocking her down. He attempted to kill Venus with his sword, but Boss Borot threw a rock on him, causing him to fall on the ground.
Jun regained possession of her Photon Beans and used it, but Diacus' diamond body could throw back energy attacks without absorbing them, causing Jun to be unable to see and making her unconscious. Once more, Diacus attempted to kill Venus with his sword, but Boss Borot stopped him by doing something violent. Diacus stabbed the robotic hero with his sword, and took an aggressive action against him with his destructive eye beams.
The Great Mazinger saved Boss Borot. Diacus was tossed into the air by him, and made an effort to use his new Drill Pressure Punch. However, the Warrior Beast reassembled himself. Tetsuya tried with the Breast Burn, but Diacus reflected the attack and threw his mace with great force at the legs of the Great Mazinger. Tetsuya recovered and Jun grabbed Diacus from the back. He used the Drill Pressure Punch, so that he could destroy Diacus' mace. Boss Borot rejoined the fight and made an injury in Diacus' chest with his own sword, so that he would be unable to reflect energy attacks.
Tetsuya left Diacus to Venus and Boss Borot, and flew to save Dr. Kabuto from a dangerous situation. Boss threw the sword into the head of Diacus, causing to destroy his true head. Venus then took her Photon Beams as a means of accomplishing a purpose to finally put an end to the existence of Diacus by damaging him.
Appearance[]
Diacus is a superhuman Warrior Beast that resembles a deep blue humanoid. He has clawed fingers, crystalline white eyes, a chained mace for a right hand, limbs supplied with diamonds, a pair of light blue diamonds on his chest, and sharp silver blades on top of his shoulders. He also has a true face located on his forehead.
Powers and Abilities[]
Diacus has an ability to fly short distances in battle. He has a chained mace as a right hand, and he wields a large sword with his left hand. His body diamonds provide guardianship from high temperature and have an ability to reflect energy attacks. He also has an ability to attack with his destructive eye beams and reassemble himself, otherwise his body if he falls down.
Trivia[]
- Diacus is one of the few Warrior Beasts to not be destroyed by the Great Mazinger. Instead, Boss Borot was the only one to do so.
