Diamond is a minor antagonist in Fist of the North Star. He serves as one of Shin's top lieutenants.
In Japanese, he was voiced by the late Daisuke Gōri in the anime, Riichi Nishimoto in the 2005 Fist of the North Star video game, and Mitsuhiro Sakamaki in Fist of the North Star: Legends ReVIVE. In English, he was voiced by the late Peter Spellos in the anime.
Biography[]
Diamond is first seen watching Shin execute two henchmen for failure alongside Club and Heart. Under orders from Shin, Diamond begins killing civilians and leaving warnings for Kenshiro. Diamond watches with sadistic pleasure as a little girl tries to keep her father from being hanged. As the pressure is about to give out, Kenshiro throws a rock in Diamond's mouth and saves the father and his daughter. Having been called a clown face, Diamond pulls out his staff to swing at the Man with Seven Scars, suddenly killing some of his own henchmen.
Diamond then attempts a spinning attack involving his staff then thrusts it, but Kenshiro catches it, throws the henchman into the air, and uses the Koshu Hagan Ken, bursting Diamond's face open.
In the anime, Diamond is given command of Dorado City, torturing slaves to do work against their will. Diamond forces a father to shoot at his son (with a tin can on his head) with an arrow and almost succeeds, but Kenshiro deflects the arrow at the goon. With his performance ruined, Diamond executes the pained goon with his staff. For his death in the anime, Diamond first shrugs off the Koshu Hagan Ken, but then his face is blown off.
In Recollection of Heavy Metal, he and Club were once heavy metal artists before the fallout.
Powers and Abilities[]
Diamond relies on a staff to swing at foes hard enough to fracture vital organs.
