The Diamond Kingdom are the secondary antagonists in the Black Clover franchise. It is a rival country of the Clover Kingdom. The country is currently ruled by a King who is in poor health.
Through an unknown method, the Magic Scholar Moris Libardirt has taken control of the kingdom and currently controls it from the shadows. The Diamond Kingdom is infamous for conducting human experiments to children with artifical Mage Stones, giving them man-made magic ability and turning them into their loyal killing machines.
Overview[]
The Diamond Kingdom lies north of the Clover Kingdom. This country of mines and wasteland is poor in resources, so it focuses its efforts on building up its army and invading other countries to steal land and resources.
The Diamond military soldiers are called Mage Warriors, who are in the service of the king. Similar to the Magic Knight captains of the Clover Kingdom who lead their own squads of mages, the Diamond Kingdom have the Eight Shining Generals who are tasked with leading their kingdom's armies and carrying out the orders of their monarch.
The kingdom's Mage Scholars also perform human experiments to bolster the power of the Mage Warriors, by embedding mage stones into children with powerful magic and giving them additional abilities through reconstructive surgeries.
Mars would later manage to evict Moris from the kingdom, freeing it from his influence, and Moris would later joins forces with the Dark Triad
The Diamond Kingdom came under invasion from the Spade Kingdom, led by the Dark Triad member, Zenon Zogratis, who had defeated several Shining Generals and conquered most of the kingdom in half a year.
After the Dark Triad were defeated, it is unknown what the status of the Diamond Kingdom currently is.
