|~ Diego Brando|
The Diego Brando from another universe is the final antagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run.
He's an alternate counterpart of Diego Brando from another universe and a stand user summoned by Funny Valentine before his death, giving him the order to gain all the Saint Corpse Parts and to kill Johnny Joestar. Diego rides the horse Silver Bullet, and wields the Stand THE WORLD.
Like his main universe counterpart, he is voiced by Takehito Koyasu in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run
As Funny Valentine came under Tusk Act 4's effects, he sought after a version of Diego Brando from another universe, telling him of the Saint's Corpse and taking him into the main universe.
After Valentine's demise, Diego emerges, steals the Saint's Corpse in a moment of distraction for the heroes, and enters the race. Catching up to the man, Johnny tries to fire one of his nails at him, only for THE WORLD to activate and him to disengage after the shot. Diego stops time once more to teleport ahead of Johnny, both knowing of each-other's powers. Taking second place at Union Beach, Diego boards a boat to New York to continue the race. Bumping into him in Manhattan, Diego tries to set up a wire trap for Johnny but fails when Johnny destroys a wall to block the shot. Tusk tries to attack Diego and Diego plans to attack, but decides not to fight it when he notices Tusk's slight movement in the frozen time. Diego then tries later sets Johnny alight through burning oil, making our hero head into the sewers due to the blaze. Using some of his fans as shields to protect himself, the two finally reach Brooklyn Bridge, Johnny tries to fire once more upon Diego, only for Diego to stop time once more and creates a pincer attack with he shooting at Johnny in front and THE WORLD attacking behind him. A wounded Johnny is stopped in his tracks. Tusk tries to climb up Diego's leg for one last attack, only for Diego to cut off his leg, cause the limb to defeat Johnny in a ironic twist, and Diego crosses the finish line at first place, winning the Steel Ball Run.
After this, Diego heads to Trinity Church to obtain the Saint's Corpse, but he is spotted by Lucy Steel. Diego interrogates her and reveals his plans to kill Stephen Steel and torture her, only for Lucy to reveal the original Diego's head to him and tossing it at him when he attempts to flee, sealing his fate.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven
In the light novel Jorge Joestar, Diego himself does not make a appearance himself, but his headless body is possessed by DIO after his duel with Kars left him bodiless.
