Digga-Leg is a major antagonist in the 2010 video game Super Mario Galaxy 2.
It is a similar model to Megaleg from the first instalment of Super Mario Galaxy.
Physical appearance[]
Digga-Leg has large, red, circular eyes. It has two large legs (instead of three like Megaleg) which encircle its entire planet where it is stored. Its feet are metallic plates connected to legs that utilise suspension to jump at great heights. Its core is powered by a Power Star, which is protected by a glass chamber.

Presumably, after Megaleg's defeat, Bowser Jr. sought to engineer an improved model as a weapon.
Super Mario Galaxy 2[]
After Mario arrives in Spin-Dig Galaxy, he arrives on a planet where he encounters Bowser Jr. Bowser Jr. taunts Mario and threatens him, stating he will be no match for Digga-Leg. Digga-Leg arrives and begins its attack on Mario, whereby it fires Diggas through the ground. However, Mario is able to utilise a nearby spin-drill, which allows Mario to get through the core of the planet and out the other side, where he strikes the glass chamber. Doing so three times causes Digga-Leg to malfunction and explode, revealing the Power Star.
