| ~ Captain Toad warning Mario/Luigi about Digga-Leg |
Digga-Leg is a major antagonist in the 2010 video game Super Mario Galaxy 2.
He is a similar model to Megaleg from the first instalment of Super Mario Galaxy.
Physical appearance[]
Digga-Leg has large, red, circular eyes. He has two large legs (instead of three like Megaleg) which encircle his entire planet where he is stored. His feet are metallic plates connected to legs that utilise suspension to jump at great heights. His core is powered by a Power Star, which is protected by a glass chamber.
Biography[]
Background[]
Presumably, after Megaleg's defeat, Bowser Jr. sought to engineer an improved model as a weapon.
Super Mario Galaxy 2[]
After Mario/Luigi arrive in Spin-Dig Galaxy, they arrive on a planet where he encounters Bowser Jr. He taunts Mario/Luigi and threatens them, stating he will be no match for Digga-Leg. Digga-Leg arrives and begins his attack on Mario/Luigi, whereby he fires Diggas through the ground. However, Mario/Luigi are able to utilise a nearby spin-drill, which allows Mario/Luigi to get through the core of the planet and out the other side, where they strike the glass chamber. Doing so three times causes Digga-Leg to malfunction and blow up, revealing the Power Star.
