Doctor Koga, real name Masao Aoki, is a researcher for the Super Science Network and an antagonist in episode 20 of Tokusou Robo Janperson.

He is portrayed by Akira Ootani.

Biography

Before becoming Doctor Koga, Masao Aoki was a scientist who was shunned by his colleagues for his forbidden experiments with genetics. He later joined Super Science Network to continue his research.

Theorizing that there was a special "ninja" gene that all descendants of ninjas possessed, Doctor Koga began kidnapping the descendants of ninjas in order to use a special device to reawaken the gene in them in order to build a "ninja army corps" with which Reiko Ayanokouji could use to create a "Super Science Kingdom" over Japan. However, the majority of the people Koga and his ninja goons kidnapped had genes that were too dormant to be awakened. After Reiko threatened to pull her backing for his research, Koga set his sights on the bumbling father of a boy named Yuu, who was the last candidate he had to transform into a ninja. Koga and his men kidnapped him and brought him to their lab to use the gene awakener on him. While at first the genes seemed too dormant, Koga forced his men to keep using the device on them, as he was their last subject. Eventually, the device managed to awaken the genes in him and he was transformed into a descendant of the legendary ninja Sarutobi Sasuke.

However, Yuu's father immediately used his ninja skills to escape the lab, leading Koga and his goons to go after him so they could harvest his genetics to create more ninjas. While Yuu's father managed to avoid Koga, Koga and his men were able to kidnap his wife and son and brought them back to the lab to lure Yuu's father there. Yuu's father soon returned, but threatened to kill himself with his katana unless Koga let his wife and son go. Needing him alive to harvest his genes, Koga relented and passed him the keys to the cell they were in. Janperson then appeared to deal with Koga and fought off his goons before incapacitating him with a punch to the stomach. Janperson later tied Koga and his men to a wooden pole for them to be taken into custody by the police.
