Doctor Trap is a minor antagonist in DC's Absolute Universe comic book series Absolute Martian Manhunter.
He is a deranged mutilator who lives in Middleton and encounters FBI agent John Johnes nearly knocked out on the ground during the blackout caused by the White Martian, leading to him trying to cut him up.
Biography[]
Amidst the darkness within Middleton caused by coordinated suicide bombers inspired by a similar terrorist and influenced by an outwordly entity, the Doctor drives in a car alongside a woman possessed by the White Martian until they come across a downed John Johnes, the headlights harshly lighting him up, and both get out of the car.
As they approach the man, John asks if the Doctor is, in fact, a doctor, to which he says he has no idea. He then prepares to use a pizza cutter to carve John up in unknown ways, while sadistically taunting him. However, the Martian, John's eldritch thought-being partner, comes back from a brief incapacitation to save him.
The Martian abruptly ends all electric activity in the Doctor's brain, instantly killing him, while using a non-euclidean teleportation power to bring himself and John to the Johnes' residence, under attack by a serial killer backed by the White Martian itself.

- Though no name drop confirmations happen, the character is most likely the Absolute Universe's take on Doctor Trap, being an enemy of the Martian Manhunter with a penchant for cutting people and similar glasses and mask.
