The Dog Jail Warden is one of the three overarching antagonists (alongside Maude and her male officer friend) of the sixth book in Dav Pilkey's Dog Man series, Brawl of the Wild, a spin-off to the Captain Underpants franchise.
He is the warden of Dog Jail and is also very greedy, sadistic, cruel, evil and selfish.
History[]
When Dog Man is sent to the Dog Jail for robbing a bank (even though he was just F.L.E.A.S in disguise), the Warden takes him there, removes his collar, and shows him his fellow inmates. However, the dogs growl at Dog Man and the Ranger tells Dog Man that he is too big a man and not too much of a dog. He then takes him to his cell. Later, he ties Dog Man and the other dogs to a dog sled and tells him that he will have to pull him 80 miles. He tells Dog Man of his evil plan, which is to take all the dog poop from the prison once a week and then force the dogs to he was being pushed into a fertilizer factory at the top of a 40 mile long hill. The warden sells the poop there and keeps all the money for himself. Then he gets on a dog sled and the dogs start pulling him to the top.
Later, Chief and 80-HD come to the hill and find Dog Man. 80-HD tries to tell the warden that he wants Dog Man, but he says it's too late. He says that he has changed, that his spirit is broken, that his will has been crushed, that he will never be the same. He tells them that the Dog Man is neither a dog nor a man, but a misfit. He says that the other dogs don't like him either, which he refers to when they growled at him, which made the dogs feel guilty. 80-HD then cuts Dog Man off the sled, causing the handler to go downhill and fast. He goes so fast that he destroys the Dog Jail.
Later, when the Gassy Behemoth Studios Guard and the judge finally get out of Dog Man's hole and tell the good guys that someone has to pay for the damage Claymation Philly did to the theater, he and his sled run into the guard and the judge and fall into a hole. The canister of dog poo then tipped over and the poo fell into the hole.
