The Dogormin are the personal bodyguards of the Zangyack Emperor and antagonists in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. They are soldiers of the Zangyack Imperial Guard who are each half as strong as a typical Zangyack Action Commander and work in groups of two. The Dogormin resemble Non-commissioned Officers Sugormin, but are red in colour. They possess their own fleet of purple-colored Zangyack Battleships.
History[]
The Dogormin brought the elite Imperial Guardsman Deratsueigar via one of their ships to the Gigant Horse to help Warz Gill in the second invasion of Earth.
Later on, the Imperial Guard traveled the Gigant Horse where a pair of Dogormin presented Warz with a gift from his father, the Great Warz. While Joe was fighting Special Duty Officer Barizorg, the Dogormin arrived on Earth and confronted the Gokaigers after they defeated a force of Gormin and Sugormin. The Dogormin initially overpowered them, but the Gokaigers transformed into extra Sentai (Captain Marvelous as Wolzard Fire, Gai as Black Knight, Luka as Zubaan, Don as Signalman and Ahim as DekaSwan) and were able to counter the Dogormin and force them into withdrawing.
The two Dogormin later led a platoon of Gormin and Zgormin to find and destroy the Gokaigers after Warz Gill downed the Gokai Galleon using the Great Warz. After their soldiers were defeated, the two of them are then destroyed by a Rising Strike/Gokai Legendream combo attack.
Two more accompanied Emperor Ackdos Gill when he himself arrived onboard the Gigant Horse. They dragged away Damaras to imprison him for failing to protect Warz Gill.
Ackdos Gill later sent four Dogormin to back Insarn up when she went to distract the Gokaigers while Ackdos finished assembling his forces for an all-out assault on Earth. After the Gokaigers changed into representatives of the five last teams whose Greater Powers they collected, Captain Marvelous took on Insarn while the other four fought a Dogormin each. The Dogormin were destroyed shortly before Insarn was finished off.
When Marvelous and Gai arrived on the Gigant Horse, they stormed into the bridge where the Emperor was and immediately destroyed two Dogormin with their final wave attacks.
Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen[]
Dogormin are among the villains revived to serve Dai-Zangyack. When Dai-Zangyack unified with Dai-Shocker to form the Shocker-Zangyack Alliance, the Dogormin took part in the subsequent battle against the Kamen Riders and Super Sentai.
