Dohu is an antagonist of the Manhwa web comic, Leviathan, and a major threat during the Union Busan arc.
He is a high ranking harpoonist from the floating city Union Busan and displays himself as a harsh enforcer that has no qualms with inflicting others to his personal set of brutal rules.
Appearance[]
Dohu is a man presumably in his early 40s. He has short brown hair that waves to the back of his head and brown eyes. His face has noticeably sharp features, which his particularly his eyes and chin, while also wearing the traditional harpoonists uniform gives him a serious and intimidating presence. He also has a scar from his mouth to his cheek.
After his arm was cut off, he swapped it out with a mechanical prosthetic.
One of his most noticeable attributes are the red lines that he keeps under both his eyes.
Personality[]
Dohu's main characteristic is his extreme obsession with the concepts of justice and order, although unfortunately not for any positive reasons.
He takes a lot of pride in being an harpoonist from a higher class and this causes him to have a sense of superiority around others. This produces the feeling that he has the right to do whatever he feels is necessary to uphold his sense of righteousness, while not caring how cruel he must be.
However, although everything that Dohu does appears to be for his appreciation of justice. There are often moments where he displays clearly evil and sociopathic character traits, yet he still deludes himself believing that he simply tries to protect Union Busan from danger.
While it is never made completely clear if Dohu truly believes what he does is the right thing, the indication that he just uses that as an excuse to commit his evil crimes while knowing that his status as a harpoonist wouldn't cause him to be punished for his actions is obvious and his actions towards Bota and Lita support this.
Story[]
It is unknown how Dohu got into the position he was in, but it has been heavily implied that he came from a high ranking background and that would be his main motivator to his narcissistic mindset, believing him to have more worth then others based on his background. Although this has never been directly said, it is still a likely possibility.
