Dokugaruda is a butterfly-themed monster of the Satan Empire and an antagonist in episode 25 of The Kagestar.
He is voiced by Tetsuya Kaji, who also voiced Sarracenian in Kamen Rider and Galaxy King in 7 Riders vs. Galaxy King.
Biography[]
Dokugaruda was sent by Doctor Satan to kidnap scientist Dr. Ohara. Before doing so, Dokugaruda tested his powers out by compelling a swarm of butterflies to devour someone.
To capture Dr. Ohara, Dokugaruda and his Satan Empire Combatants secretly placed a bomb inside of his daughter Mie while she was undergoing surgery after being in a traffic accident and kidnapped her to hold her hostage against him to get him to comply. Kageo attempted to rescue the scientist and his daughter from Dokugaruda, but Dokugaruda was able to capture him as well.
Dokugaruda had his combatants tie Kageo's limbs to ropes attached to different vehicles and had them all drive away to slowly pull Kageo apart. However, Suzuko was alerted to the fact that Kageo had been captured and went to rescue him. After arriving at the scene and becoming Bellestar, she severed the ropes and freed Kageo. Kageo then became Kagestar and joined Bellestar in battling Dokugaruda and his combatants. After the two fought off the Satan Empire Combatants, Kagestar went to fight Dokugaruda. Dokugaruda tried to flee by flying away, but Kagestar created a giant shadow hand and grabbed him before throwing him to the ground. Kagestar then hit Dokugaruda with his "Kage Punch" and knocked him inside his Satan Empire base where he exploded.
