Dokuja Monster (ドクジャモンスター Dokuja Monsutā, lit. Snake Monster) is a minor antagonist of Uchuu Keiji Gavan who appears in episode 5. It is a cobra-like BEM Kaiju who helps Makuu with their plans to incite the world war by selling their weapons around the world.
It is voiced by late Takeshi Watabe, who also voiced Don Horror and Shako Monster in the same series, Waruder in Kikaider 01, Emperor Aton in Kagaku Sentai Dynaman, Gyodai in Dengeki Sentai Changeman, Guardian Spirit Waller in Jikuu Senshi Spielban, God Neros in Choujinki Metalder, Creation King in Kamen Rider Black, Lagorn in Kousoku Sentai Turboranger, Byakko in Yu Yu Hakusho, the elder Shuten Douji Brothers in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, Emperor Gaohm in Juukou B-Fighter, and Battobas in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.
Biography[]
While "Joe Smith" (who is actually a Double Man in disguise) is on his way for a meeting, Dokuja Monster and the soldiers arrived with their stolen truck and went to attack the cops before hijacking the car and held "Mr. Smith" hostage. However, Gavan eventually arrived and fought with the monster and the soldiers. While they're fighting, Gavan kicks the monster with Gavan Kick and the Dokuja Monster then electrocuted him with its tentacles before Hunter Killer ordered it to retreat. Under Gavan's orders, Mimi is able to locate Makuu's hideout, but the monster managed to found her in the form of the cobra. Later, Hunter Killer used the monster's venom and put it inside the bullet for him to shoot Retsu in the leg, which almost killed him with a poison inside if it weren't for Mimi and Marin.
After he is eventually recovered from the poison, Retsu managed to infiltrate the Makuu's secret hideout where he discover their plans to incite the world war by selling their weapons. While Retsu is fighting against the soldiers, the Dokuja Monster has captured him with its tentacles and the Double Man joins in for the fight. After Retsu transformed into Gavan, he, the monster and the Double Man were engaged in battle before they're dragged into Makuu Space. After fighting with them both in 2-on-1, Gavan ended up in a desert-like location where he was attacked by cobras the monster summoned. The monster then striked an ambush on him and Gavan had to grab it in the tail. The monster threw a sand around Gavan and attempt to fire an explosive energy bolts from its mouth. Despite the monster turning invisible, Gavan managed to found it with a Laser Scope and finished it off with Laser Z Beam.
